Our little black Labrador Pepsi is not so little anymore and is now 4 months old tomorrow. He’s such a lovely, friendly playful little chap, but to be honest what Labrador isn’t. Every time he comes to the office I get such a lovely wiggle bum greeting, it makes a great start to anyone’s day.
When Pepsi was nine weeks old, he had his first encounter with another dog, a Jack Russell who unfortunately didn’t take a liking to Pepsi and attacked him. Thankfully many hands were close by to stop it very quickly. Thankfully this hasn’t put him off meeting others dogs.
He loves going on his little walks each day and getting to meet other humans and dogs. He walks lovely on his lead and when told to sit and stay he does so. As time goes by his walkies time will get longer and longer, which I’m sure he can’t wait to have as it means more time to explore.
Pepsi can give you a high five for a treat and also loves a good belly rub. He is so good around the office and likes to sleep under everyone desk, so you always have to know where he is so you don’t run him over with the wheels on your chair.
When lunchtime comes around, he now knows its food time and will happily sit looking at you with his sad “I’ve not eaten anything eyes,” until he gets a little treat and moves onto the next person. (some people give him more treats than others)
He likes to prewash the dishes, but let hopes he doesn’t continue with this, otherwise the door might not be attached to it hinges for much longer!!
