Neo has crossed over the rainbow bridge – as you know most of us at JCE have a four-legged family member in our lives who we love dearly. Unfortunately, after 13 years, Danny’s dog Neo sadly passed away over the rainbow bridge yesterday. As you can imagine Danny is completely devastated and heartbroken, along with his partner Lou and their children.
Danny brought Neo back to his forever home at seven weeks old, where their friendship blossomed and grew into making fabulous memories over the years.
As with most Labradors, they are loyal, loving and also incredibly stupid and Neo is no exception. One time, while Danny was at work, he received a call to say the flat above could smell gas coming from his flat and if didn’t get home quickly they would have to break the door down. Thankfully Danny was just pulling up outside. Upon entering his flat it was discovered that Neo had decided to turn the gas hob on!! Perhaps he was keen to start Danny’s dinner for him.
When he wasn’t trying to cook dinner and gas himself out, he was forever not only stealing, but also eating people’s socks and pants. And if that wasn’t enough, he would also steal trainers for a living.
I’m sure if Danny was writing this, he would be sat here now looking back at all the fun and fond memories he has of NEO, with laughter and tears.
Neo is going to be cremated, so Danny will have his ashes forever with him.
All of us at JCE would like to send all our love and condolences to Danny and his family at this difficult time and wish we could do more to help with the pain of losing a four-legged fruit loop.
