It’s been a while since the JCE team have posted any news, in fact it’s been about three months. The JCE team have been really busy over the past seven months, to the point we could do with cloning our electricians, as there doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day/week.
We have completed so many periodic inspections, first and second fix jobs, EV Chargers, small domestic jobs, along with some very large commercial projects. As they say, variety is the spice of life.
We’re all nearly double vaccinated, with only two guys awaiting their second appointment. We shall still continue to undertake twice weekly tests in-house, so we can make sure we are keeping others and ourselves as safe as we possibly can.
Louis, who is our new apprentice, has settle in with the JCE team and seems to be enjoying working alongside the electricians. Louis starts College in September, I’m sure he can’t wait to get started and is counting down to finally becoming qualified.
Jake, one of our other apprentices, has his final day at College next Monday. He just has to complete his AM2 and he will be fully qualified. I’m sure he is looking forward to going out on his own and maybe one day training up a new apprentice.
Simon our Operations Manager, is currently on holiday with his family. He has taken Pepsi on his first ever family holiday. Pepsi has been to the seaside, he’s still a little unsure as to what to make of the sea, but I’m sure as the week goes on, he’ll dip his toes in a little further.
Since our last post Martyn & Emily have given birth to a beautiful baby girl called Rosie, who seem to have a natural talent for looking grumpy, must take after her daddy. Freddie however seems to be very happy that he has a baby sister to play with/torment.
It’s nice to feel like everything is becoming normal again. Stay safe and long may this continue!!
